Jacey Eckhart, MA, ICF ACC

Jacey Eckhart is an authority on military and defense career transition whose work spans more than a decade of published writing, national programming, and executive-level coaching. She has also authored more than 200 published articles and developed 40+ master classes examining the structural, cultural, and human dynamics of high-stakes career change—particularly within the military and national security.

Her coaching practice builds on that documented body of work. Jacey works with senior military officers, federal executives, corporate leaders, military spouses, and accomplished professionals navigating consequential transitions. Clients seek her out when the stakes are high, the path forward feels complex, and the next move carries long-term impact.

Jacey’s approach combines deep listening with disciplined analysis and practical strategy. She helps leaders clarify their value, understand how decision-makers will perceive them, and design transitions that align influence, identity, and opportunity. The result is not simply a new role, but a move that fits the leader they are becoming.

Prior to launching her private practice, Jacey led large-scale career development initiatives at Military.com, where she served as Director of Veteran and Spouse Employment Programming and Transition Master Coach. There she designed and scaled a national transition platform reaching millions, built dozens of master classes, trained corporate recruiters, and coached leaders across the full spectrum of service and seniority. That experience informs her work today—combining strategic vision with a grounded understanding of how hiring and promotion decisions are actually made.

In addition to one-on-one executive coaching, Jacey serves as a strategic advisor to senior officers navigating reinvention after command. Her work is known for balancing rigor with clarity—bringing structure without rigidity, challenge without ego, and candor delivered with respect.

She holds an MA in Sociology with a military concentration from George Mason University and a BA from Old Dominion University. Her professional credentials include ICF-ACC, Hogan Certification, ASTD, and PARWCC. She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Harvard University’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative, with advanced training in meta-leadership, conflict resolution, and leadership communication. She is currently pursuing the ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential.

At every stage of her work—whether through published writing or private coaching—Jacey helps leaders navigate transition with clarity, steadiness, and strategic depth.
